The November 2, 2026 puzzle ran from a VR headset at 20 cm to an office printer at 45 cm — about 2× apart, drawing on technology. The pair furthest apart was round 3: an office printer is 1.3× as big as a laptop computer.
Answer: Desktop Computer Tower — 45 cm. A desktop computer tower measures 45 cm (height), which is 1.2× as big as the reference, a PlayStation 5 at 39 cm.
Tower cases are sized around the motherboard, a standard barely changed since 1995.
Common miss: players tend to compress a desktop computer tower when it sits beside a PlayStation 5 — big things get squeezed, small familiar things get stretched.
Answer: Computer Keyboard — 44 cm. A computer keyboard measures 44 cm (length / span), which is almost exactly the same size as the reference, an office printer at 45 cm.
Full-size boards owe their width to the number pad; tenkeyless models lose about 10 cm.
Common miss: players tend to inflate a computer keyboard when it sits beside an office printer — big things get squeezed, small familiar things get stretched.
Answer: Office Printer — 45 cm. An office printer measures 45 cm (length / span), which is 1.3× as big as the reference, a laptop computer at 35 cm.
Width is set by the paper path — A4 and Letter need the same clearance.
